By improving your percentage of deliveries made on the preferred target date we ensure that your vendor compliance scores are high. Since we are an approved carrier for most mass retailers, we use their web appointment request and confirmation process to pre-set your appointments. Using their preferred system also allows for PO verification along with receipt of an appointment confirmation number, which we communicate to you in our daily reporting. We also will communicate delays that would impact on time delivery, this allows for PO extensions where needed. In addition we communicate delays caused by acts of god, or capacity constraints at the retailers DC. These shipments are considered as on time by the retailer and as such, cannot result in charge backs to you.
