Daylight Transport and Covid-19
We have all dealt with recent challenges associated with COVID-19 Coronavirus. To this point, the challenges have surrounded preparation and the development of contingencies. The reality is this situation is fluid and dynamic. We all have to be ready to react and change as appropriate.
At Daylight Transport, our primary focus is the welfare and safety of our employees, customers, vendors and the general public at large. We are closely monitoring local and national reports on the evolving impact of COVID-19. Based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and applicable health agencies, we’ve developed a comprehensive plan of action up to, and including work from home capabilities where appropriate. We have also established a task force that will allow us to respond timely and appropriately should one of our employees, customers or vendors notify us of exposure to or diagnosis of a COVID-19 infection.
We have taken and continue to take actions to ensure our focus of health and safety manifest themselves. As you know, we must be flexible with regard to our protocols as new information becomes available.
Additionally, Daylight Transport has significant secondary responsibilities at this time. We have a domestic transportation network designed for speed. We are capable of shortening supply chains and bringing goods to market in an expedited manner as part of our normal mode of operation. We remain committed to and take these responsibilities seriously. Our network remains ready to assist in any way possible.
